I'm Carl Spencer, a photographer & user interface designer specialising in progressively enhanced, mobile-first design.
I've created digital experiences for some of the biggest brands in the world and have had my personal iPhone web app featured in .net Magazine. I recently moved from Stratford upon Avon, one of the most beautiful villages in England, to London where I've joined a fantastic start-up as lead designer to sculpt cutting edge interfaces for the web and mobile devices.
Alongside my design work I'm a passionate surfer and photographer, shooting for both work and pleasure, surfing my way around the globe with my trusty old Hasselblad 503cx and Canon 5D. I go out of my way to craft things manually and escape the world of LCD screens, then I drag that knowledge and inspiration into the digital realm. I sometimes love WordPress and often Dribbble, Tweet and Pin various stuff.
